📝 How to Create a Head Office User Role

⚠️ Attention!

This configuration is available only to users with the Master role.

📌 Summary

To create a Head Office user role, access the menu in the upper-right corner:

Settings >> Permissions >> New Role

Enter the role title and select the type (Head Office), configure the permissions, and click Create Role.

Important: After creating the role, you must open the new role to configure its access permissions for the platform modules.

⚡ Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Head Office User Role

🔸 Step 1. Click the Settings icon in the upper-right toolbar to access the list of roles created by your network.

In the Permissions tab, you will find all registered roles, organized into two categories:

🟣 Franchisor | Head Office: This type of role allows detailed permission settings for certain modules.

🟣 Franchise | Units: This type of role is intended for franchisees and unit users, with access permissions to the modules.

For each role, the following information is displayed:

  • Role name, customized according to the needs of each network.

  • Number of selected permissions.

  • Number of users assigned to the role.

Remember: Head Office and Unit roles have different permissions because their interfaces and available actions on the platform are different.

🔸 Step 2. Click "+ New Role" to start creating a new role.

🔸 Step 3. When creating the role, fill in the following information:

🟣 Title: Name of the role to be created.

🟣 Type: Select the Head Office profile.

🔸 Step 4. After entering the information, click "Create".

Important: When a new role is created, all permissions are initially unchecked.

🔸 Step 5. After creating the role, select the platform permissions that users assigned to this role will have access to. These permissions determine which modules users can view and access.

To do this, click "Number of Permissions" and select the desired modules.

Important: Some modules have detailed permission settings:

  • Units

  • Communication

  • Materials

  • General Announcements

  • Checklist

  • Education

Click the arrow next to each module to expand its additional permissions and configure the available actions.

🔸 Step 6. After defining all permissions, click "Save".

Remember: Creating a new role directly affects users and their experience on the platform.

Therefore, when creating a new role, make sure it is assigned to the correct users or transfer existing users from another role to the newly created role, when necessary.

🚀 Done! Your User Roles Have Been Created!
