Hello! How are you?

⭐ How to Create a Unit User Role

This process is similar to creating a Head Office user role.

📌 Summary

To create a Unit user role, access the menu in the upper-right corner:

Settings >> Permissions >> New Role

Enter the role title, select the type (Unit), configure the permissions, and click Create Role.

Important: After creating the role, you must open the newly created role to configure its access permissions for the platform modules.

⚡ Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Unit User Role

Step 1. In the upper-right corner, go to:

Settings >> Permissions

When accessing the Permissions tab, you will see a list of all the roles that have been created.

In the first column, you can identify which user profile each role is intended for:

🟣 Head Office profile: Some modules allow detailed permission settings.

🟣 Unit profile: Intended for franchisees, with access permissions to the platform modules.

The following information is also displayed:

  • Role name, customized according to each network's needs.

  • Number of selected permissions.

  • Number of users assigned to the role.

  • Role type, indicating whether it is intended for Unit or Head Office users.

Remember: Head Office and Unit roles have different permissions due to differences in the platform interface and available actions.

Step 2. Click New Role to start creating a new role.

Step 3. Fill in the following information:

🟣 Title: Name of the role to be created.

🟣 Type: Select the Unit profile.

Step 4. Click Create to create the role.

By default, new roles are created without any modules selected in their permissions.

Step 5. After creating the role, select the modules that the franchisor wants users assigned to this role to have access to.

Step 6. After selecting all the modules that the role needs to access, click Save.

Done!

Role successfully created!

You can now assign this role to users or user groups who should have access to the permissions of the selected modules.
